You want to address the problems right away, so you can put your mind at ease and begin any treatments you may need as soon as possible. You notice significant changes in your menstrual cycle

If you notice any sudden differences in your menstrual cycle, such as changes in the amount of flow you experience or the duration in which it lasts, then you should be seen. You experience itching

A yeast infection occurs when there are too many yeast cells present in your vagina. Some factors can put you at a greater risk of developing a yeast infection, such as having diabetes or being pregnant.

Yeast infections can be very uncomfortable, causing not only severe itching, but also a burning sensation. Luckily, yeast infections are generally easy to treat with the use of medicated creams, which is why you want to be sure you get in to see your gynecologist as soon as you notice you may have a problem.

You are having trouble urinating

If you feel as if you have to go to the bathroom, but little to nothing is coming out, then you want to make an appointment to be seen right away. You may have a bladder infection and these can get worst quickly. The bladder infection can cause you to feel as if you have to go to the bathroom, even when your bladder is empty. You will continue to try to go and this can cause you to experience  

Bladder infections are easy to treat if you get in to see your gynecologist right away. Otherwise, they can lead to a kidney infection if you prolong treatment. Kidney infections can be extremely painful and in some cases can lead to hospitalization.
